The more-from-buyers skill: money behind the sale you already make

4 minute readUpdated August 2026Explore more

TL;DR

more-from-buyers audits the offer you're already selling and gives you 3 to 5 concrete money moves, sorted into this week, this month, and this quarter. Each one comes with what to add, roughly what to charge, and the line you'd use to pitch it. It needs an offer with at least a few real sales behind it. Installs in three lines.

You want more revenue, so you post more, chase more traffic, and try to grow the audience. That's the expensive route, and it's slow.

The cheaper money is usually sitting behind a sale you're already making. A price set too low two years ago. A small add-on nobody ever offered at checkout. A next step nobody pitched, to people who already trusted you enough to pay once. The more-from-buyers skill goes looking for those. It takes the one thing you sell today, asks six questions about how it actually performs, and hands back 3 to 5 specific moves with the easiest money first.

It's one of the 55 free skills in our freeskills repo, and it's the one you run when the offer works and the number is still too small.

The six questions, the levers it checks the offer against, and how it ranks the moves by effort.

Install the more-from-buyers skill

Skills live in a folder Claude Code reads on startup. Three lines put this one in there and give you the command.

bashgit clone https://github.com/duncan-buildroom/freeskills.git
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
cp -r freeskills/more-from-buyers ~/.claude/skills/

Restart Claude Code or start a new session and it shows up. Setup is done at that point. No API key, no config step.

Run it the first time

One thing to know before you type anything: this skill needs an offer that's already selling. Not many sales, a handful is plenty, but it works off what real buyers actually did. It checks that in the first message, and if you haven't sold anything yet it tells you plainly and sends you to offer-builder or pricing-calculator in the same repo instead. Getting the first sale is a different job, and the skill points you at the right one.

Type /more-from-buyers and it asks six things: what you sell and what you charge, whether it's one-time or monthly, roughly how many a month, what happens right after someone buys, what people say when they say no, and what the buyer actually gets out of it in money or hours. That last one decides most of the answer, so push yourself for a real number instead of a feeling.

A good first result: a dated file in ~/offers/ with your current model in one line, then the ranked moves. Each move says what to add, roughly what to charge, and how to pitch it, sorted into this week, this month, and this quarter. It's directional about impact and it won't state what a change will earn as a fact. It also checks whether the moves would bury you in delivery work, and says which one to do first if they would.

Audit the one thing you sell

This is the main run. Bring the real numbers, even rough ones.

/more-from-buyers

I sell [what it is] for [price]. It's [one-time / monthly].
Roughly [number] a month.
After someone buys, I offer them [what, or nothing].
When people say no, they usually say [their actual words].
What the buyer gets out of it: [the result, in money or hours].

Give me the moves, easiest money first.

Find out whether you're too cheap

If nobody ever pushes back on your price, that's information. Give it the signals and ask it to focus there.

Almost everyone who hears my price says yes, and nobody has ever pushed back on it. I charge [price] and the result is worth about [what it's worth to them, in money or hours saved].

Tell me whether the price is too low, what number to move to, and the one sentence I'd use to explain the new price to someone who bought at the old one.

Turn a one-time sale into money that comes back

One-time offers make the same money once. Ask it to look specifically at what could keep going after delivery.

My offer is one-time: [what it is, at what price]. After I hand it over, the relationship ends.

What could I charge for every month that would genuinely be worth it to them after the main thing is done? Give me one option I could start this month, what to charge, and what I'd actually deliver each month so I don't promise something I'll resent.

The 60-second version

Here's the spoken version of what it does to an offer that already works.

  1. 1Hook: everyone tells you the answer is more traffic. This free skill finds 3 to 5 ways to make more from the buyers you already sold.
  2. 2Step 1: you tell it what you sell, what you charge, and how many go out a month.
  3. 3Step 2: you also tell it what people say when they say no.
  4. 4That last answer matters more than the rest of them.
  5. 5Step 3: it runs your offer through the six ways to make more from a buyer, like raising the price, adding a small extra at checkout, or charging monthly, and drops the ones that don't fit yours.
  6. 6That's the filter. Here's where it gets useful.
  7. 7Step 4: it writes 3 to 5 moves, each with a price and the one line you'd say to sell it, sorted so the ones you can do this week come first.
  8. 8Transformation: you find money in what you're already doing instead of needing a bigger audience to make a bigger month. And the first move is usually a decision, not a build.
  9. 9Close: it costs nothing, and it's sitting in a repo with 54 others. Wiring the moves up so people can actually pay for them is Claude Code Club at $9 a month. Link below.

Tonight: run it on your main offer and do the top move in the this-week bucket before the week ends. It's usually a price change or one sentence added at checkout.

Common questions

  • Do I need to know how to code?

No. Three lines install it, then you answer six questions about your business in plain English.

  • Is it really free?

Yes. It's public, it needs no keys, and nothing here is held back. Claude Code Club at $9 a month is the separate offer.

  • What if I haven't sold anything yet?

Then this isn't your skill yet, and it'll say so in the first message. Run offer-builder if you can't say your offer in one sentence, or pricing-calculator if you don't know what to charge. Both are free in the same repo.

  • What if I've only made a few sales?

Fewer than about five and it runs anyway, but it keeps the moves to price and one add-on. There isn't enough of a pattern yet to build a whole set of extra offers on.

  • Will it tell me how much extra I'll make?

It gives directional impact, like roughly 20 to 30% more on every sale, and it won't hand you a precise made-up figure or state a result as a fact.
