Community Guidelines

How Claude Code Club's 4,500+ builders keep the community helpful, respectful, and worth showing up to.

The culture we protect

Claude Code Club works because of the people in it. It's a place where builders - from total beginners to seasoned engineers - help each other learn Claude Code and ship real things. These guidelines exist to keep that culture intact as we grow. By participating, you agree to follow them.

The short version: be helpful, be honest, and treat people the way you'd want to be treated when you're stuck on something new.

Be respectful

Treat every member with respect, regardless of skill level, background, or how 'basic' their question seems. We were all beginners once. Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, discrimination, and bullying have no place here and will result in removal.

Disagree with ideas, not people. Healthy debate about tools and approaches is welcome; making it personal is not.

Be helpful & give back

The best way to learn is to help others. When you can answer a question or share something you built, do it. Post your wins and your stuck points - both help the people coming up behind you. A community of takers dies; a community of contributors compounds.

When you ask for help, show your work: what you're trying to do, what you've tried, and what happened. It makes it far easier for others to help you fast.

No spam or self-promotion

Don't use the community as a billboard. Unsolicited advertising, affiliate links, lead-harvesting, DM spam, and repeatedly plugging your own product or services outside designated spaces are not allowed.

Sharing something you built or a resource that genuinely helps others is encouraged - the test is whether you're contributing value or extracting it.

Respect privacy & confidentiality

What's shared inside the community stays inside the community. Don't screenshot, repost, or share other members' posts, questions, or builds outside the club without their permission. Don't share confidential client or employer information you don't have the right to share.

How we enforce these

We'd much rather coach than punish, and most issues are resolved with a friendly nudge. But we will remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently remove members who breach these guidelines or harm the community. Serious violations - harassment, illegal activity, scams - can result in immediate removal without refund.

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it inside the community or email hello@claudecodeclub.ai. We take reports seriously and review them promptly.

A community that actually ships.
