Pinterest Engine: The Claude Skill Behind Our Pinterest Pins
TL;DR
Pinterest Engine is a members-only Claude skill inside Claude Code Club. You give it your niche. It finds the keywords people already search on Pinterest, studies the pins already ranking for them, designs fresh 1000x1500 pins, writes the title, description and alt text for each one, and lays them into a steady schedule. You publish them from your own account.

What it does
This is the skill behind the pins on the Claude Code Club Pinterest account. Pinterest's own analytics show 38,829 impressions for July 3 to October 1, 2026, and our rolling 30-day impressions first passed 10,000 on July 17, 2026. They peaked in early September and have dropped since, so treat this as what the skill does, not a promise of numbers. Everything below is copied from the skill's own SKILL.md and reference file (checked October 1, 2026).
1. Pinterest Engine (members-only Claude skill): keywords, pins and a schedule for your own brand
keywords, pins and a schedule for your own brand
A Claude skill in the Bonus Skills section of the Claude Code Club classroom (lesson: Pins That Keep Working). It runs keyword research first, never design first, then builds keyword-led pins and a board and pin plan you can review before anything goes out.
- 1Join Claude Code Club and open the classroom.
- 2Go to The Bonus Skills, open the lesson Pins That Keep Working, and download pinterest-engine.zip from it.
- 3Drag the zip into Claude Code and ask Claude to install it as a skill.
- 4Run /pinterest-engine. On the first run, Claude installs what it needs to draw the images.
2. Keyword research first: start from what people already type
start from what people already type
The skill uses Pinterest's own search autocomplete plus a web search to land on 3 to 10 keywords, then finds the pins already showing up for each one and studies their structure: title pattern, layout, color and text hook. It copies the structure, never the content.
- 1Give Claude your niche, your offer and the page you want people to land on.
- 2Let it pull 3 to 10 keywords from Pinterest search suggestions.
- 3Review the short list before it designs anything.
3. Every pin gets 4 SEO fields: title, description, alt text and link
title, description, alt text and link
Each pin gets a title that matches the search, a description that starts with the keyword (2 to 5 hashtags, the call to action before the more cut), alt text that describes the image, and a link tagged with utm_source=pinterest. It also renames the image file to the keyword. Pins are tall 2:3 at 1000x1500, and text pins render locally in code at zero spend.
- 1Check the pin table and plan.json the skill writes.
- 2Start around 5 to 10 fresh pins a day and ramp over months. Never spike a new account.
- 3Track impressions, saves and outbound clicks in Pinterest Analytics, and make fresh versions of your top pins.
