LinkedIn Agent Skills Guide: 11 Free Claude Skills That Ghostwrite Your LinkedIn
TL;DR
The LinkedIn Agent Skill is a free, open-source pack of 11 Claude Code skills by Jake Schincariol. They write your posts from 21 hook formulas, draft comments and replies, score your profile out of 100, plan your week and clean the AI tells out of every draft. You install it in two lines, teach it your voice in ten minutes, and it hands you copy-ready text. It never posts for you. You review and post.

What the LinkedIn Agent Skill is
Over 1,000 stars on October 2, 2026. MIT license. By Jake Schincariol.
It is a pack of 11 Claude skills that run your LinkedIn writing. Free, no signup, no API key and nothing to connect. Each skill is a slash command in Claude Code. They all read one voice file you fill in, so the drafts sound like you instead of like everyone else.
The 11 skills
- /li-post: turns one idea into a post. Three hook options from 21 hook formulas, one full draft, humanized before you see it.
- /li-comment: writes comments on other people's posts, picked by what the post actually is. Never "Great post!".
- /li-reply: handles the thread under your own post. Sorts every comment into lead, substance, peer, support or noise, then replies in that order.
- /li-profile: scores your profile out of 100 on a 12-part rubric, then rewrites what lost points, fix-first.
- /li-plan: plans your week: what to post, when, and the 10 people to engage with.
- /li-human: the humanizer. Strips the AI tells out of a draft and scores what is left.
- /li-carousel: slide-by-slide copy for document posts, plus the PDF to upload.
- /li-repurpose: turns one video, newsletter or transcript into a week of posts.
- /li-dm: the 200-character invite note, the first message and two follow-ups.
- /li-inbox: sorts your inbox into lead, recruiter, peer, ask or spam.
- /li-audit: a post-mortem on what you already published, ranked by engagement rate and reach.
What you need
- Claude Code installed.
- Python 3 on your computer if you want the humanizer's two scripts to run (most Macs already have it).
- Three of your own LinkedIn posts, to teach it your voice.
Step 1: Install the skills
Easiest: paste this into Claude Code and let it do the install:
prompthttps://github.com/Jakeschincariol/linkedin-agent-skill
Install this skill, then confirm /li-post works.Or as a plugin. Type these two lines inside Claude Code:
prompt/plugin marketplace add Jakeschincariol/linkedin-agent-skill
/plugin install linkedin-agentOr copy the skills yourself from the terminal:
bashgit clone https://github.com/Jakeschincariol/linkedin-agent-skill.git
cp -r linkedin-agent-skill/skills/li-* ~/.claude/skills/Step 2: Teach it your voice (do not skip this)
Every skill reads a voice file. Skip it and everything comes out generic. You have two options: copy templates/voice.md from the repo to ~/.claude/linkedin/voice.md and fill it in, or let Claude write it for you:
promptHere are 3 of my LinkedIn posts. Write my voice.md from these and save it to ~/.claude/linkedin/voice.md.
[paste post 1]
[paste post 2]
[paste post 3]Step 3: Use it
Start with a post. Give it one real idea from your own work:
prompt/li-post [one lesson from your week, with a real number from your own work]If a draft needs a number you have not given it, it leaves a {{your number}} placeholder and flags it instead of making one up. Then try these:
- Fix your profile first: run /li-profile and paste your headline and About section. You get a score out of 100 and rewrites in fix-first order.
- Plan the week: run /li-plan to get what to post, when, and who to engage with.
- Reply faster: paste the comments under your latest post into /li-reply.
- Get a week of posts from one video: paste a transcript into /li-repurpose.
The catches
- It never posts for you. By design. Automating LinkedIn breaks LinkedIn's User Agreement, so you copy and paste every post yourself.
- The human score is a local check, not an AI detector. The five checks run on your machine. They are not GPTZero, Originality or any real detector API, and they cannot promise what those tools will say.
- Review every draft. Read it, fix anything that is not true or not you, then post. Your name is on it.
Quick start
- 1Install with the plugin lines or the one-paste prompt above.
- 2Build your voice.md from 3 of your own posts.
- 3Run /li-profile once, then /li-post for your first draft.
- 4Read it, edit it, and post it yourself.

Common questions
Does the LinkedIn Agent Skill post to LinkedIn for me?
No. It writes copy-ready drafts and you post them yourself. Automating LinkedIn violates LinkedIn's User Agreement, so the skills are built never to post.
Is it free?
Yes. It is free and open source under the MIT license, with no signup, no API key and nothing to connect. You only need Claude Code.
Will the humanizer make my posts undetectable?
No tool can honestly promise that. The five checks are local heuristics, not real AI-detector APIs. They catch common AI tells, but you should still read and edit every draft.
How do I make it sound like me?
Fill in the voice.md template, or paste three of your own posts into Claude and ask it to write your voice.md. Every skill reads that file.
